Recension / Review ~ Skin & Tonic London Mini Kit

De här små produkterna fick jag i ett pressutskick från naturliga webshoppen Softskin för utlåtande. Brittiska Skin & Tonic gör fina produkter med få ingredienser med högt ekologiskt innehåll, och jag har testat 3 utav dem. Jag skulle vilja säga att det här bra naturliga produkter med hög kvalité, både till innehåll och prestanda. Läs mer nedan om varje produkt.

Skin & Tonic London Steam Clean ska vara en effektiv multiprodukt/rengöringsbalsam för ansiktet. Med ekologisk tistel-, eucalyptus- och frisk grönmyntaolja ska effektivt på att lösa upp fett och smuts utan att torka ut huden och återuppliva trött och glåmig hy. Ska passa all hudtyper och även gå att använda på torra läppar och andra torra områden på kroppen för att ge näring och mjukhet.

Man ska massera in en liten mängd Steam Clean på ansiktet och sedan fuktar man en Skin & Tonic bomullsduk i varmt vatten och håller mot ansiktet under 1 minut för att ånga och aktivera de eteriska oljorna. Därefter masserar man varsamt bort smuts. Duken är ansiktsduk är handgjord av 100% ekologisk oblekt bomull certifierad GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).

Steam Clean innehåller bara 7 olika ingredienser vilka är 100% naturliga, och 99% utav dem är ekologiska.
Certifierad Soil Association och innehåller ej GMO(genmodifierade grödor).

Mitt utlåtande: Den här rengöringsbalmen/återfuktningsbalmen kommer i en glasburk med plastlock. Balmen är fast i i konsistensen så man får använda fingrar eller spatel för att fiska upp lagom mängd. Doftar gott och uppfriskande mintigt utav eucalyptus- och grönmyntaoljan. Formulan känns len när man smörjer in den, speciellt på fuktat ansikte, och den är lätt att fördela jämt. Med hjälp av den fuktade bomullsduken känns den här rengöringen som en liten spa ritual, vilket är välkommet en vanligt vardagskväll. Det är hyfsat lätt att tvätta bort balmen och den tar bort sminket bra även om mina linser blir lite dimmiga en stund efter. Men den här balmen är underbar och lämnar huden mjuk, återfuktad och len!

Skin & Tonic London Gentle Scrub är en ekologisk ansiktsskrubb med havre, nypon och fransk rosa lera. Scruben ska milt avgiftar huden samtidigt som den ger näring. Ska passa alla hudtyper och ge lämna huden mjuk med lyster. Man blandar en halv tesked med varmt vatten (alt en tesked honung eller yoghurt) till en flytande pasta och masserar in på fuktigt ansikte med cirkelrörelser.

Mitt utlåtande: Den här skrubben/ansiktsmasken kommer i en mörk glasburk med plastlock. Den har en pulver-form, är rosa/beige till färgen och det doftar gott utav lera, nypon och geranium-olja. Som skrubb tycker jag den inte fungerar så bra då havrekornen är för stora för att skrubba något effektiv. Däremot är den härlig som mask, bara med vatten eller lite yoghurt. Vid användandet som mask så känns huden väldigt len, mjuk och återfuktad efteråt.

Skin & Tonic London Brit Beauty Oil är en ansiktsolja gjord på endast 5 ingredienser; gurkört, tistel, chiafrö och marshmallowrot oljor, full av antioxidanter och omega 3 och 6. Den ska hjälpa till att minimera fina linjer och reducera stora porer och neroli olja är tillsatt för att stödja cellförnyelsen. Man ska kunna använda oljan både som den är och som en extra boost i din vanliga hudkräm. Ska passa hudtyper.
Certiferad Soil Association och innehåller ej GMO(genmodifierade grödor).
Hållbarhet 6 månader efter öppnadet. 

Mitt utlåtande: Den här ansiktsoljan kommer i en mörk glasflaska med glaspipett. Konsistensen är flytande, ljust genomskinligt ljusgul till färgen och doftar gott av alla oljor. Den är lätt att dosera med pipetten, och formulan är len och glider lätt över huden när man applicerar. Absorberas snabbt av huden och lämnar en mjuk återfuktad känsla. Dagen efter känns huden fortfarande återfuktad och smidig, och den har tagit udden ur de djupaste kråksparkarna.

British Skin & Tonic makes fine products with few ingredients and with high organic content, and I have tested three of them. I would like to say that this great natural products with high quality, both in content and performance. Read more below about each product.

Skin & Tonic London Steam Clean should be an effective multi-product / cleansing balm for the face. With organic thistle, eucalyptus and fresh spearmint oil it should be effective in dissolving grease and dirt without drying out the skin and revive tired and sallow complexion. Should suit all skin types and even going to use on dry lips and other dry areas of the body to nourish and soften.

Massage a small amount of steam clean onto the face and then moisturize Skin & Tonic cotton cloth in warm water and hold against your face for 1 minute to steam and activate the essential oils. Then massage it gently to remove dirt. The cotton cloth are hand made from 100% organic unbleached cotton certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).

Steam Clean only contains 7 different ingredients which are 100% natural and 99% of them are organic.
Certified Soil Association and does not contain GMOs (genetically modified crops).
Shelf life of 12 months from opening.

My opinion: This cleansingbalm / balm comes in a glass jar with a plastic lid. Balm is fixed in consistency so you can use your fingers or a spatula to fish up the right amount. Smells good and refreshingly minty of eucalyptus and spearmint oil. The formula feels smooth when you rub it in, especially on wet face, and it is easy to distribute evenly. With the help of the dampened cotton cloth, this cleanser feels like a small spa ritual, which is welcome a usual weekday evening. It is fairly easy to wash off the balm and it removes makeup well, even if my lenses get a little foggy for a while after. But this balm is wonderful and leaves the skin soft, moisturized and smooth!

Skin & Tonic London Gentle Scrub is an organic facial scrub with oats, rosehip and French pink clay. The scrub will gently detoxify the skin while nourishing. Should suit all skin types and leave the skin soft with luster. Mixing half a teaspoon of warm water (or a teaspoon of honey or yogurt) to a liquid paste and massage onto damp face with circular movements.

My opinion: This scrub / facial mask in a dark glass jar with plastic lid. It has a powder-form, are pink / beige in color and the smell nice of clay, rosehip and geranium. As scrub, I think it does not work so well becuase the oat grains are too large to scrub effective. However it is lovely as a mask, both with water or a little yogurt. When using as a mask so the skin feels very smooth, soft and hydrated afterwards.

Skin & Tonic London Brit Beauty Oil is a facial oil made with only 5 ingredients; borage, safflower, chia and marshmallowrot oils, full of antioxidants and omega 3 and 6. It will help minimize fine lines and reduce large pores and neroli oil are added to support cell renewal. You should be able to use the oil both as it is and as an extra boost in your regular skin cream. Fits all skin types.

My opinion: This facial oil in a dark glass bottle with a glass pipette. The consistency is liquid, light translucent pale yellow in color and smells good of all the oils in it. It is easy to dispense with the pipette, and the formula is smooth and glides easily over the skin when applying. Quickly absorbed by the skin and leaves a soft moisturised feeling. The day after the skin still feels hydrated and smooth, and it has taken the sting out of the deepest wrinkles around the eyes.
